How to Know If You Have Brain Cancer
The most likely reason for asking about how to know if you have brain cancer is that the person or a loved one has experienced some symptoms that are suspected could (but hopefully not) be caused by brain cancer. There are many related questions that follow and this series is a result of research into the various aspects of the issue of brain cancer, including treatments and outcomes.
Research shows that there are areas of agreement as well as areas of disagreement amongst those that provide care and advice. Additionally, there are conflicting reports from brain cancer patients and family members of patients as to the value and effectiveness of both methods of diagnosis as well as treatment choices.
The most common symptoms are:
o headaches,
o weakness,
o nausea,
o clumsiness,
o difficulty walking,
o changes in speech,
o vision or hearing difficulties,
o twitching or seizures, and
o numbness or tingling in the arms or legs.
None of the symptoms are unique to brain cancer so they must be taken as indicators only. Also, symptom onset can be quite gradual and is often overlooked.
It is quite common for different medical organizations or practitioners to provide differing lists of the most common brain cancer symptoms. This appears, in part, to be due to the various parts of the brain that could be cancerous and thereby affecting the different parts of the body that are associated with the affected part of the brain.
The following are regarded as less common but possible symptoms:
o altered mental status,
o changes in concentration,
o impaired judgment, memory, attention, or alertness,
o gradual changes in intellectual or emotional capacity,
o impaired sense of smell,
o paralysis of one side of the face or body,
o drooping eyelid or crossed eyes,
o prolonged drowsiness,
o swelling,
o discontinuation of menstruation,
o excess secretion of milk in women, and
o impotence in men.
All research sources were quick to point out that symptoms are not a sure sign of cancer. When asking how to know if you have brain cancer it is important to know that other conditions could also cause these symptoms.
Addition articles in the series soon to be released include statistics, diagnostic choices, treatment choices, what questions should you ask your doctor, is it possible for a cancer patient to ever be cancer free, and patient testimonials (including miracle results).
Cell Phone Radiation Causes Cancer
Do you use a cell phone? Most people do. In fact, they have pretty much become something that no one can live without. No matter where you go, someone is talking into their cell phone, or has it shoved up against their head, listening. Unfortunately, those who use cell phones may be getting a little more than they bargain for. Cell phones emit something called electromagnetic radiation. This is a low, pulsing energy that can actually interfere with our cells.
Different studies have been done that link this radiation to brain tumors, cancer, and other health conditions. In fact, in one study done with mice, the incidence of cancer and tumors was higher when the mice were exposed to electromagnetic radiation than when they were not. Many other studies have been done, and they all point to the fact that cell phone radiation causes cancer and other problems with our bodies. The interesting thing to note is that when you hold the phone to your ear, the electromagnetic radiation can reach up to the middle of your brain. This puts your brain at risk! This is why there have been numerous brain tumors that are present on the side of the brain that gets exposed. That is scary news.
So, what can you do? You have become accustomed to using your cell for everything from business to staying in touch with the people you love. You are not going to give it up very easily. On the other hand, you don’t want brain tumors either. Well, here are some tips you can use to protect yourself and your family.
o Try using a hands free accessory. While you can talk on the phone just like usual, you will not have the it too close to your body. It allows you the convenience of a cell phone but it reduces some of the risk of electromagnetic radiation and its effects.
o Another thing that you can do is purchase a buffer that attaches to your cell phone. These are very helpful, and made out of all natural things. They pulse at the low level that electromagnetic radiation does, and the energy they put out helps neutralize the radiation.
o Don’t allow children on the phone for more than a very short period of time. This will keep them from being exposed to electromagnetic radiation in large amounts or for longer periods of time. This may reduce their risks of developing brain tumors or other problems.
o There is also a product that you can place in a room of your home which does the same thing as the attachment for the cell phone, however it works for all of the products that emit electromagnetic radiation. There is a certain amount of area that it covers as well.
Doing small things like this can help you protect your family from cell phone radiation and other types of electromagnetic radiation.
Saving money on ED medication
Many men who are suffering from the male condition known as erectile dysfunction may be advised to take a treatment called Cialis. Cancer – So Why Did I Get Sick? Why Do Any of Us Get Sick?
So many of us these days have the experience of Cancer in our lives. Why is that? Why have we become sick? I have always been tremendously healthy my whole life. What is the reason behind it?
Worry, worry, worry and more worry. Fear, fear, fear and more fear.
I worried a lot about what might happen, really in subjects other than health. Health is just where it showed up. If you could take a look at my life, probably for many years prior to getting sick, you would have found small little things, then bigger things, then finally – boom!
It becomes such a strong habit – worrying. I would find that whenever my mind was idle, whenever I was not consciously choosing a thought – it was worrying. At times I got frustrated because I was working my thoughts, and doing good, I thought, yet I still got sicker, and then I’d take a dip down.
I believe that all the time I was really getting better at controlling my thoughts, but what happens is there is this internal struggle going on between what we want to create in our life, and if we are creating other than that, then there’s a struggle against what we don’t want in our lives. It tears us apart and makes us sick.
I was cleaning up my act, but not fast enough. Good thing is I believe that you can turn anything around. So here I am now, appreciating the wonderful services that are available to help us and the wonders of modern medicine ready for us when we do get ourselves into a fix.
Once I’d been through all the treatments and began to recover my strength, it became easier to be more positive and focus on the outcome that I wanted! And that is certainly what I recommend for anyone else going through the same thing.
It is never really over. Media coverage of horrible things is always there and if you give it your attention, you run the risk of bringing that very thing right into your life experience. Friends, family and neighbors are around with many a sad story and many a detail about somebody’s sickness.
I want to be well and I want to thrive. Heck with surviving. I want to thrive! I want to focus upon being healthy, being happy, being successful and having fun. I look for encouragement. I look for inspiration and I don’t want any sad stories.
When you’ve got something really big in your face, it gets your attention. It makes you refocus your thinking and most definitely your priorities. When I hear people complaining about this and that, it all sounds so trivial to me. I think, ” what are you making such a fuss about? You have nothing to complain about and so much to be thankful for!”
Very recently I came across a video of Robert T. Kiyosaki, author of “Rich Dad Poor Dad.” I was so inspired by hearing Robert talk that I decided I had to have that book, right now. I didn’t even finish the video, before switching screens, checking my local library and putting his audio book on hold. Within a few days I was listening to his book. What an inspiration.
Now it’s important when you really want something, to go for it. A dream or a burning desire, is something really important and unique to you. You need to go for it in order to be true to yourself. In order to be happy and healthy, you have to honor your dreams and desires and not think they’re crazy, impossible, or too much to ask.
In my life I ran after things but often stopped short of making them a reality in a big way, out of fear. That’s almost the worst thing you can do! I think it’s better not to try at all! For when you do start to go after it, you fan those fires and it makes that inner turmoil all the greater!
So, what makes us sick? What made me sick? Worry, worry, worry and more worry. Fear, fear, fear and more fear. In order to be healthy and well, we must take charge of our thoughts. We must go after our dreams. ‘m working on it, how about you?
Levitra and lifestyle changes
Walk down any street anywhere in our country and you can’t help but notice how few thin people there are. It’s like a lunar month passing over a hundred year cycle. If you go back to 1911, access to plentiful food was limited to the middle and upper income groups. More importantly, only a few overindulged. The new generation grew taller and stronger, but they stayed lean. So, when you walked down any street, anyone overweight stood out. If anything, this trend was reinforced by the 1930′s, the lost decade of the Great Depression. Poverty and starvation left deep scars. It actually took World War II to get us fit and healthy again. We needed stronger people for the war effort and so food supply was improved. As evidence of sexual health, you only have to look at the Boomers. A whole generation of fitter, stronger and more active people were born in the years after the war. That was part of the same enthusiasm that really made America great.
Unfortunately, it’s been all downhill from then on. Fast food spread into all our cities and towns as we earned the disposable income to pack away ever larger portions of it. The results are now plain to see. We’re the most overweight country in the world. Now make no mistake, the rest of the world are catching us up, but that’s nothing to be proud of. It’s not like we should be in a race to see who can be the heaviest nation in the world. As a result, we’re also leading the world in the number of people dying of heart attacks. We have more strokes, there are more diabetics, and food-related cancers of the colon and prostate are reaching epidemic proportions. For the record, there’s recent confirmatory research published in Nature that restricting calorie intake reduces the size of tumors.
So here comes the message part of the article. Everywhere you look, you see talking heads and articles encouraging you to eat a healthy diet. You probably know the advice without having to think about it. Eat more fruit and vegetables, avoid high-fat diary products and pick the lean meats and fish. We can add in whole grains and make noises about regular exercise to complete the picture. Hung on the end of all this well-meaning advice is the fact it reduces the risk of heart disease, diabetes and cancers. And we all nod wisely and, with a smile, tell ourselves we’ll start the diet tomorrow. So here’s the kicker. If you won’t diet to avoid a heart attack, will you cut down the calories to avoid erectile dysfunction?
The most common medical cause of erectile dysfunction is artherosclerosis. That’s a hardening of the arteries due to the high concentration of cholesterol in your blood. By coincidence, this is also one of the main causes of heart disease. Many doctors now treat erectile dysfunction as an early symptom of heart disease. So, if you diet, you are solving two problems at the same time. Of course, you could just buy Levitra online. It’s the most powerful of the three drugs and, when the others stop working because the arteries are slowly blocking up, Levitra keeps working until the blockage is about 70% – not far short of the heart attack percentage.
